GNG: Apricot Pistachio Trail Mix

  1. 1 cup unsalted pistachios
  2. 1 cup rolled oats
  3. 2 T wheat germ
  4. 1 T vegetable oil
  5. 2 T honey
  6. sprinkle of kosher salt
  7. 1 cup dried apricots
  8. 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  1. Preheat the oven to 275°
  2. In a medium bowl toss together the pistachios, oats, wheat germ, oil and honey. Spread on a baking sheet and sprinkle with a very small amount of kosher salt.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring once.
  4. Remove from oven and let cool completely, add the dried fruit and store in an airtight container.

    Hi Robin,
    I saw your show for the first time today, 2/6/2016, and enjoyed it very much. I’m going to try some of the recipes on your website this weekend.

    BTW, at the end of the show, when the credits roll, fix the word “Special” where you give special thanks to your family. Currently “Special” is misspelled.
